Why The Morocco Guide Was Created
Hello! I am Abdelilah, a 27-year-old Moroccan travel companion and videographer. Having spent years guiding international travelers across Morocco—from the ancient labyrinth of Fes and the red ramparts of Marrakech to remote desert dunes in Merzouga and High Atlas mountain passes—I noticed a frustrating pattern online.
Most Morocco travel websites fall into one of two extremes: either generic travel blogs that repeat surface-level clichés after a 48-hour weekend trip, or commercial tour agencies pushing overpriced cookie-cutter packages.
The Morocco Guide was born out of a desire to create something genuinely useful: a transparent, culturally grounded publication written from real on-the-ground experience.
